Tonight Kaitlyn had her 6 month appointment. Everything went well....Dr. says she looks great. She thinks she might be getting a tooth in the back of her mouth....very odd. My little piggy only gained less than one lb. since the last appointment (she sure eats like a champ though), but the doc says it may be due to her increased activity and that its ok. Official weight was 13lbs. 14 oz. Only 3 shots this time and she seems to be fine as of now.
Can't believe how fast the time has past. Next she'll be going to prom :(

In the past week, Kaitlyn discovered that she has a voice...it sounds like she is upset but she "talks" like this all day. It's hilarious! She also knows she can make herself cough now and that it gets her atttention.

Well I've managed to loose 14 lbs. exactly in only 5 weeks! I'm so proud of myself. I was so happy when I weighed my self Saturday morning that I decided to have a pig out day. First thing I had was donuts. Not one but 3, lol. Two of which were cream filled. Total of 22.5 points....I normally only get 20 pts. per day. I still managed to stay in my weekly allowance points but I used every single one of them. Normally I only used about 5-7 for the week. I figure one pig out day every 5 weeks is aok in my book.
On to the kiddies. Brandon has been GROUNDED for the last week. He's decided not to do any work in class and fiddle around with his pencil and paper. So much so, that he even had to stay after school last Wednesday to finish some work. Either he is a complete angel or a total stinker. All of you with babies, or wanting them...just you wait! As far as bball, he's gotten much better and loves going to practice and games. He had pictures Sunday, I'll post them when I get them in.
Kaitlyn is doing great as usual. She is scooting backwards a lot now, especially during diaper changing time. It's so cute, she gets all worked up and away she goes. She finally decided to flip over last weekend, too. I watched her and didn't even notice until my husband turns around and says..."Hey she rolled over, I just put her on her tummy!" At which point I realized what I had just seen and started jumping up and down in joy. Too bad she only did it once though, lol. It's amazing how the smallest things completely make your day.
Till next time...

Has anyone out there seen one of these little guys? They are called Ugly Dolls and I think they are hilariously funny. Go to http://www.uglydolls.com/ to check them out.
The President's daughters are both big fans and have been spotted with them on their bookbags.
I just bought two for my hubby for Valentine's Day. He likes to collect weird stupid ugly stuff. I hope he'll get a kick out of them.
Surgery SUCKED!!! It was so unbelievably painful. In the recovery area I was given Demoral, Morphine and Vicodin....and I was still crying in pain. I'm glad it over with. I'm feeling much better today and I return to work tomorrow. The only good part is that my incisions are very small. One in my belly button that no one will ever notice in a couple weeks and one more on the lower left side of my abdomen (probably will barely notice it either). Not that it really matters because the stretch marks Kaitlyn left on my sides will prohibit me from ever wearing a tiny bikini again....its tankinis in my future from now on.
So on to Weight Watchers news...... I am down to 148.4. That's 1.8 lbs. lost last week, and almost 12 total. I never thought loosing weight would be so easy. I'm not allowed to do my crunches for 4 weeks, but until a couple days ago I was doing about 150 every night or other night. I do the online version of Weight Watchers and it is sooo easy. Only $16.95 a month...which is cheap actually compared to other sites and programs. It makes logging in my food so easy and quick. I also love the recipe tracker which allows you to log in the ingredients in your favorite recipes and get the points per serving. The website also has a huge library of about 1500 recipes....those who know me well know I love searching through recipes and I'm always making something different for my family. One of my (and Brandon's) favorites is Taco Chili....so easy to make and only 2 points per cup which really fills you up. We actually had it for dinner tonight. I also love the Applesauce Sour Cream Coffee Cake. It is so moist and delicious. I cut it into nine pieces for 3 points per piece and substitute Splenda Brown Sugar in and Light Sour Cream instead of fat free. I checked and the substitutions even themselves out for no additional points. Try it...you'll never know its low fat. My dad even loves it when I bring it to work for breakfast.
Well time to get back to the kids....It's been hard doing stuff with them being so sore, hopefully I'll be all healed up soon.

So I am having surgery tomorrow. What's wrong you may ask....well I'm having my tubes tied. Actually they'll be burnt off and cut out. I don't want to be one of the ones whose grow back and SURPRISE you're prego. That would be just my luck.
We've thought this through and I've debated back and forth about it for 5-6 months now and we've decided it for the best. I'm also having another procedure done and the same time and my risk of early delivery after this procedure would be increased. With all the problems I went through carrying Kaitlyn, I feel like its not worth it to put myself and everyone else in a similar situation ever again. Afterall, I'm so lucky to have two beautiful, perfectly healthy children, and to have a boy and a girl. Why press my luck?
So wish me luck....I probably won't blog again till next week.
